Meet our new Product Consultant and tennis player, Cyrus Semnani!
Where did you grow up and what was it like?
Being raised in Los Angeles, I just love that sunshine year round, the melting pot of cultures, and over the last few years, the amazing food scene.
What is your favorite sport?
My favorite sport that I play is tennis. I'm also a skier, so I love winter!
Outside of work, what are you irrationally passionate about and what is something less known about yourself?
I'm passionate about fitness and music. In the fitness space I'm always looking to explore different ways to work out and recover. A little lesser known fact about me is that I DJ (www.djvyrus.com) as a hobby. I have a podcast called Monday Night Central where I spin a selection of trance and progressive.
What’s been the most exciting part about joining Relo Metrics?
The people - Everyone I have met is very driven and working to push the boundaries in the space.
The leadership - Having worked with Jay before, it's great to see him at the helm and empowering the team to build something great.

Describe your superpower or describe what unique skill/perspective you bring to the team here.
My superpower is curiosity in how things work. I love taking things a part and putting them back together. I started my career in quality assurance and grew to become a product leader with expertise in data and analytics helping teams use data to make data informed decisions regardless of the product that is being built. I love jumping into the mind of the end user as well with a goal to help change the world, one product at a time.
What skill, practice, behavior, hobby or habits are you currently working on?
Being better about body recovery. As someone who has had many injuries throughout my life, I try to experiment with various recovery methods such icing and cryotherapy, or equipment such as lacrosse balls, foam rollers, theragun, and resistance bands.
What book, publication, or podcast have you most recommended lately and why?
Book - The 4 Hour Body by Tim Ferriss. He has really spent the time to figure out the science behind the slow carb diet and the results are fascinating. Anyone can do it!
